Lisa Cressman Adjunct Faculty Instructor

Lisa Cressman is an Episcopal priest, spiritual director and retreat leader who has been recognized for her preaching since her ordination in 1993. She has served as staff at the Preaching Excellence Program, and is a contributor to The Living Pulpit. In addition, she is the founder of “Backstory Preaching,” an intensive mentorship for preachers to link preaching with spirituality. Lisa also co-founded “Women Touched by Grace,” a Lily Endowment-funded, ecumenical, clergywomen’s renewal program housed at Our Lady of Grace Monastery, a Roman Catholic Benedictine women’s monastery, in Beech Grove, Indiana. While she currently assists at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, Houston, prior to moving to Texas in 2013, she served congregations in the Dioceses of Minnesota and Indianapolis.
