Parker Jameson Adjunct Faculty Senior Instructor

Parker Jameson is a follower of Jesus, husband of Paula (with whom he has two adult sons), and retired parish priest. Over the course of thirty-five years, he served congregations from family to resource size in the dioceses of Northwest Texas, West Texas, Western Louisiana, and Texas, most recently as the longtime Associate Rector of St. Luke’s on the Lake, Austin.

In their current chapter of life, he and Paula are assisting the Rev. Jim Clark in continuing to plant and nurture The ART of Engaging Holy Scripture (TAEHS), a contemplative group spiritual practice based on lectio divina.

Here at the Seminary of the Southwest Parker has assisted with the field education colloquies since 2008. During the 2016-2017 academic year, he will be assisting the Rev. Dr. Danielle Tumminio as she transitions into her new ministry, and during the fall will be the interim Director of Community Care while Professor Jane Patterson is on sabbatical.
