St. Matthew’s is a program-size parish in rural Colorado, an area with abundant outdoor activities and beauty, 4 hours from the nearest city. We are looking for a curate that doesn’t need to prevail in political discussions, as opinions vary throughout the community and the congregation.
Ideal applicants will be open to sharing in leadership, loving our diverse congregation, and joining us as we seek a deeper faith. We hope you will want to preach, teach and listen. It would be good if you have a sense of humor and don’t take yourself too seriously. It would help if you enjoy young adults. Perhaps most of all, we hope you have a prayer life. We understand ourselves as the Body of Christ, imperfect but hopeful.
This position is full-time, and offers benefits along with compensation.
