Practicing Forgiveness in Challenging Times

June 5, 2017 @ 9:00 am - June 9, 2017 @ 6:30 am

Practicing Forgiveness in Challenging Times

June 5-9, 2017

In these challenging times of political, social, religious, and interpersonal conflict, practicing forgiveness helps individuals, families, and communities restore broken relationships. This unique five-day, multi-disciplinary study will explore the practice of forgiveness from a variety of Christian theological and psychological perspectives. Our instructors include members of Southwest’s talented academic faculty, as well as highly qualified, experienced educators from outside the Southwest community, including Dr. Douglas Snyder, Professor of Psychology at Texas A&M University. The unique modular construction of the program, with special pricing for particular sessions, encourages participation from those who cannot devote the entire week to a continuing education course. At the conclusion of the week, all registrants will receive a certificate from Seminary of the Southwest confirming the extent of their participation in the course for purposes of seeking credit for continuing education from their respective governing bodies.
