Joslyn-Siemiatkoski in Jerusalem

Southwest's newest faculty member is one of the fellows involved in the 2014-15 Christian Leadership Initiative (CLI) in Israel this week. Dr. Dan Joslyn-Siemiatkoski, associate professor of church history at Southwest, will be studying Judaism in the 13-month program which kicks off in Israel and will follow with monthly distance learning sessions. The program is co-sponsored by American Jewish Committee (AJC) and the Shalom Hartman Institute. Details

Dr. Joslyn-Siemiatkoski joined the faculty at Seminary of the Southwest this summer and will begin teaching in September. "Dan’s rich scholarship in the history of Jewish-Christian conversation makes him an important voice in the church and in the academy," said Academic Dean Scott Bader-Saye.
