Two alumni of Seminary of the Southwest, the Rt. Rev. David Bailey and the Rt. Rev. James Magness received honorary doctorates at the seminary's Alumni Convocation on September 25, 2012. Chair of the Board, Bishop Suffragan Dena Harrison of the Diocese of Texas presented the awards at Evensong in Christ Chapel on the Southwest campus.
