Chandler Tomsu joined the seminary staff in 2018 as Capital Campaign Coordinator to coordinate all campaign-related activities with volunteers, fundraisers and donors for the Forming Leaders at the Frontier: Campaign for Southwest. Chandler played a key role to help the team reach and exceed the campaign's $20 million goal. She was promoted to Donor Relations Associate for Institutional Advancement in Spring 2021 where she is leads and supports a full range of fundraising activities to enhance the seminary’s donor relationships.
Chandler is a Texas State alumna with a degree in Mass Communications. Prior to Seminary of the Southwest, she's had professional experience in Public Relations, Campaign Coordinating, Event Coordinating, Marketing, and Creative Design. She joined the seminary staff with the intention of being able to combine her faith and purpose with her professional career.
Chandler is a born and raised Episcopalian and Austinite. On weekends she enjoys being active with her dog, Oliver, freelancing artwork, wake surfing on Lake Austin, fishing in Rockport, TX, or riding her horse in the Texas country.
