Haiti Project-Post 2

 
Hi Friends,
It is the second day of Christmas and a little over a week away from our trip to Haiti.  I heard from Pere Val today and they are very excited about our trip.  He asked me specifically to bring some liturgical calendars for 2013.  I am happy to oblige!  I hope I will be able to Skype with him before our trip to iron out all the details.
I wanted to share with you all a picture of our beloved nutrition clinic, Lespwa Timoun, which means hope for children.  It has been five long years since I first saw this beautiful piece of property that would become the home for Lespwa Timoun.  I am so thrilled that it is almost complete.  It is truly through the grace of God that so many children’s lives will be saved from the work done at Lespwa Timoun.
You can’t tell from the picture but there is a luscious garden and a plentiful orchard.  We will be sure to take lots of videos and pictures of the entire property when we arrive in Croix-de-Bouquets.  There will be two different medical mission trips working with Pere Val and Carmel while Kellaura are I are visiting Haiti, so it will be exciting to see the clinic in action!
