Laurel Heights UMC, San Antonio, Texas is looking for a part-time, 25 hours, Christian Education Director to lead in making disciples for the transformation of the world. This position is part of a larger outreach and missional ministry. Families from the neighborhood who have little or no church tradition are part of the ministry as well as fourth and fifth generations of founding families. We are looking to identify the person God calls to this ministry, who is excited about welcoming all and loves Jesus while building a community of faith. We are a neighborhood congregation with a 100 year tradition of classic worship, outreach and equipping the saints. Qualifications include a bachelors or equivalent in a related field along with prior experience in Christian Education or a related field. They should be able to organize and direct a broad range of people and envision and implement a variety of programs and events. Those interested are invited to contact Rev.
