Pilgrimage to Israel

Pilgrimage to Israel

HOLY TIME IN A HOLY PLACE:

Pilgrimage to the Holy Land at the time of Orthodox Christmas
Celebration of Orthodox Christmas & Contemplative Immersion into the Life & Teachings of Jesus

December 29, 2019-January 10, 2020

Sponsored by

The Iona Center, Seminary of the Southwest

Rather than a comprehensive tour, this pilgrimage has been planned specifically as a chance to slow down and become steeped in the holy places where Jesus lived and served and loved. A highlight of the experience will be the celebration of Orthodox Christmas in Bethlehem on January 6. We will be keeping a regular rhythm of morning and evening prayer, as well as times of reflection and Eucharistic celebration throughout our time together.
