Southwest Launches Response to COVID-19 Crisis

On Friday, March 13, members of the Southwest COVID-19 taks force met for a day-long session to determine the proper next steps for Southwest as the COVID-19 pandemic spreads.

The work of this group led to the creation of a centralized informational website located here.

The Very Rev. Cynthia Briggs Kittredge, who leads the task force said in a statement:

The COVID-19 pandemic has reminded us again of how connected we are – through technology, economy, and travel.

As a Christian community we seek to be faithful to our values and be responsible to the wide human family.

The decisions we make about campus closures and procedures are guided by the most up to date advice from public health professionals and others with appropriate authority. The welfare of our seminary community is foremost in our planning.

Please monitor the official Southwest COVID-19 response website for updated information and instructions as this evolving situation develops.
