We seek a strong spiritual leader to help us cast a long-term vision for St. Mary’s, leading us to live into our full potential. Through wisdom, effective communication, team-building and servant leadership, our next rector will guide and support us in Christ-centered worship, education and outreach ministries, helping us build on our strengths to serve each other, our community and the world. He or she will be passionate in liturgy, preaching, and Christian formation, able to engage long-time Episcopalians as well as new comers to our denomination. Our next rector will be involved in the local community, representing St. Mary’s and the wider Episcopal Church, being respectful of differing opinions and lifestyles in our west Texas environment. We’re looking for a plain-speaking administrator with a result-driven management style, and accompanied by a good sense of humor. He or she will have the ability to work with strong lay leadership to proclaim the Gospel to a hurting world.
