Holy Week and the Triduum
Seminary of the Southwest will begin its observance of Holy Week and the Triduum on Monday, March 30th. The paschal mystery we celebrate is the energizing source of our life together.
The entire community is invited and encouraged to attend. Families are welcome, as are any guests. We expect all students preparing for ordained ministry to participate in the week’s liturgies. Faculty members will be preaching at the Eucharist each day.
On Monday through Wednesday of Holy Week, the worship schedule is as usual: Morning Prayer at 9:00 a.m., Eucharist at 11:45 a.m., and Evening Prayer at 5 p.m. (except on Tuesday when Tenebrae replaces Evening Prayer). Unless otherwise noted, all services will be celebrated with procession and music and held in Christ Chapel.
