The Very Rev. Cynthia Briggs Kittredge and the Rev. Nancy Frausto among the five honorees featured during the month of March
Recently, the Absalom Jones Center for Racial Healing announced its five “Women of Distinction,” being honored during Women’s History Month. Each week throughout March the Atlanta-based center will highlight a woman, in celebration of Women’s History Month and, “share the stories of five women who courageously contribute to dismantling racism and advocating for wellness. We honor them as Women of Distinction. We hope you’ll be inspired by their brave life work as we recognize their contributions to our community,” according to the group’s website.
Among those five were Southwest’s Dean and President, the Very Rev. Cynthia Briggs Kittredge, and its Director of Latinx Studies, the Rev. Nancy Frausto.
