Students, faculty and staff celebrated three members of the Southwest faculty and their recent publications with a book signing and reception in November.
Anthony D. Baker, Clinton S. Quinn associate professor of systematic theology wrote “Difficult Conversion: Shakespeare and the Soul of Religion” in The Resounding Soul: Reflections on the Metaphysics and Vivacity of the Human Person edited by Eric Austin Lee and Samuel Kimbriel.
Jane Patterson, (center) assistant professor of New Testament and director of community care, has published Keeping the Feast: Metaphors of Sacrifice in 1 Corinthians and Philippians.
Kathleen Sams Russell, Joe and Jesse Crump associate professor of Cultural Research – associate professor of Pastoral Theology, co-authored a chapter with Deborah Kerr Davis in Brimming with God: Reflecting Theologically on Cases in Ministry, edited by Barbara J. Blodgett and Matthew Floding.
