Please join the community of Seminary of the Southwest for the 57th Annual Blandy Lecture and Alumni Convocation on November 18-19, 2025.
This year’s Blandy lecturer is Kazu Haga. A respected voice in the fields of nonviolence and restorative justice, Haga brings decades of experience in social change and community healing to this year’s event. Kazu Haga’s lecture will be themed on “Spiritual Foundations of Nonviolent Resistance.”

- Presentation of the Hal Brook Perry Award and the inaugural Dave Scheider Award (learn more here)

- A “dinner by the bite” reception before the lecture, where alumni can mingle with current students and faculty
