Eucharist will wrap up Black History celebrations

A celebration Eucharist with guest musicians and alumna Freda Marie Brown preaching will wrap up the seminary’s Black History Month observance. The Eucharist in Christ Chapel begins at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 25, and it is followed by a reception in the Weeks Center.  All are welcome to attend.

Thanks for the seminary’s events for Black History Month go to a committee chaired by Brittany James-Sauceda. The committee included Trustees John Culmer and Lynwood Randolph; members of the Myra McDaniel Chapter of Union of Black Episcopalians Ms. Ora Houston, Alex Ogunmuyiwa and Scott Madison; alumna Glenice Robinson-Como; and students Lecia Brannon, Jennifer Brazeal, Vernon Cooper, Carrie Duncan, Karen Kline, Nadine McElroy and Clif Taylor.
