In preparation for celebrating Black History Month in February and 50 years of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, Seminary of the Southwest showed a live webcast, “Fifty Years Later: The State of Racism in America,” presented by The Episcopal Church and the Diocese of Mississippi . Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori delivered the keynote address and Ray Suarez moderated the event.
After the webcast, Academic Dean Scott Bader-Saye led a discussion for the audience on campus.
