This Tenebrae will be an abbreviated office structured around chanted psalms, readings, and responsories. The distinctive ceremonial of the service includes fifteen candles, ultimately symbolizing the triumph of Christ over evil and death.

Following the Maundy Thursday service and Agape meal, an all-night vigil will be held in the chapel. You and members of your household are invited to symbolically keep watch with Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane through the night in one-hour increments. Even if two people have already signed up for a time slot, anyone is still welcome!
