You are invited to join the Seminary of the Southwest community in worship during Holy Week.

Morning Prayer on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday is at 9:30 a.m. and Evening Prayer is at 5:00 p.m.

Celebration of ordination anniversaries for Kittredge, Patterson and Russell

Professors Jane Patterson and Kathleen Russell and Dean and President Cynthia Briggs Kittredge will celebrate their twentieth, twenty-fifth and thirtieth ordination anniversaries respectively at the daily Eucharist on Friday, April 17, at 11:45 a.m. in Christ Chapel.

All are invited to attend and give thanks for their priesthood and ministries among the community of Seminary of the Southwest and the greater church.

Celebrating Dean Kittredge’s book of poetry

A Lot of the Way Trees Were Walking: Poems from the Gospel of Mark is Dean and President Cynthia Briggs Kittredge's latest publication, and students, faculty, staff and friends of the seminary will gather on Monday, April 20 from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. to celebrate its release. Dean Kittredge will be on hand to read from her book and to sign books that will be available for purchase from the seminary's Bookstore.

This five day course provides a broad overview of how to minister to Hispanic/Latino populations within either English- or Spanish-dominant congregations.The various models of multilingual services will be explored, including some attention given to the worship music that is being used in bilingual/multicultural worship.
