In preparation for celebrating Black History Month in February and 50 years of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, Seminary of the Southwest showed a live webcast, "Fifty Years Later: The State of Racism in America," presented by The Episcopal Church and the Diocese of Mississippi . Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori delivered the keynote address and Ray Suarez moderated the event.

Seminary of the Southwest is hosting an Open House Saturday, April 5th for individuals to explore our Counseling, Chaplaincy or Spiritual Formation degrees.
The schedule includes an opportunity to learn about the programs from our director, the Rev. Dave Scheider, attend an optional Admissions/Financial Aid session, chapel service and lunch with the current students.
