David Waldo joined SSW’s IT department in 2015 and assists with the administration of all aspects of the seminary’s computer, network, and audio/visual infrastructure.  Prior to joining SSW he spent six years as the director of IT for a multi-campus local church and was a senior support engineer for a local IT services firm.  He holds A+, Network+, and Security+ industry certifications.
David also serves as the media director at his church and has over 15 years of church media experience.  Having mixed audio for events attended by thousands of people, he primarily considers himself an “audio guy”, but he has also produced video content, directed camera crews, and designed lighting shows.
When not turning knobs or banging on keyboards, David spends time with his wife and two children, watches Star Trek, and plays trombone and euphonium in a community orchestra.
