Seminary of the Southwest names Beth Jordan Interim Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Services

Beth Jordan

Seminary of the Southwest recently announced the appointment of Beth Jordan as Interim Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Services. In this role, Ms. Jordan will lead this key department at Southwest that oversees student recruiting efforts, financial aid, housing, and work-study assignments. She began in this role on February 17, 2025.

“Beth brings a depth of knowledge and background in this work that makes this a natural choice,” said Dr. Scott Bader-Saye, dean and president. “She has a breadth of experience across all our areas of vocational focus and has been a key contributor to the growth and rise of prominence of Southwest over the last decade. She knows the landscapes of both theological and counselor education, and especially the nuances of navigating postulancy in the Episcopal Church. Her commitment to recruiting diverse and academically strong students to the seminary is among her many impressive gifts to our community, and will position her well in this role.”

A member of the Enrollment Management and Student Services department since 2008, Jordan has an extensive background in recruitment and recruiting strategies. This year will represent the 17th class of incoming students at Southwest that she has recruited.

“Building community brings me joy,” said Jordan. “In my time at Southwest, it has been rewarding to work towards creating a more diverse seminary and to watch our seminary grow. It will be a privilege to work with current and incoming students in this new capacity.”
