Last month at the Episcopal Communicators Conference, Southwest won five Polly Bond Awards. The awards were presented at the annual Polly Bond Award ceremony to celebrate excellence in communications. This year the ceremony was 70s themed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Episcopal Communicators. The conference was held in Portland, Maine and over 135 communicators attended from across the country.

With Tatiana Suggs-Perea, Vice President Eric Scott brilliantly conveys the letter and spirit of our mission. The five Polly Bond Awards testify to the excellence and effectiveness of their work. We are very proud of their recognition.”

- “The Power of Place” article written by the Very Rev. Cynthia Briggs Kittredge and Eric Scott, featured in the Spring 2023 Ratherview magazine
- Iona Collaborative: Equipping Bi-Vocational Leaders Promotional Banner graphic design
- Grand Opening of the Bishop Dena A. Harrison Library Video Reel featured on social media
Eric Scott, Vice President for Marketing and Communications and Tatiana Suggs-Perea, Communications Manager, attended the conference. Tatiana presented a workshop at the conference entitled Canva Deep Dive, exploring the graphic design platform, Canva and how it can be a great tool for communicators in the church.
