2012 Blandy Lecture by the Rev. Carol Howard Merritt
Lecture Topic:
Current(s): How are shifting tides changing your church today?  How can we faithfully respond?

God calls us to teach our faith from generation to generation. In our time together, we will explore how current generational dynamics, technological advancements, and evolving communication have changed our culture and how we can respond faithfully. Whether you serve a traditional congregation or you’re interested in new church movements, we will discern how God is working through and with our current landscape.

In addition to two sessions by the Rev. Carol Howard Merritt, the Southwest Alumni Association will also offer 2 hours toward continuing education credit through two panel discussions on Utilizing Social Media and Church Planting. Attendees of the panel discussions and both lectures will be eligible for a total of 4 CEU’s.
