MyMinistry.org (@MyMinistryorg) is hosting live Twitter Chats (#myssw) along side Seminary of the Southwest (@myssw). We invite you to join the conversation on Episcopal Campus Ministries and Young Adult Ministries EVERY WED. @11AM CDT hashtag #myssw.
The #myssw Twitter Chat on July 10th, 2013 will feature special guest, Jason Sierra, Officer of Young Adult and Campus Ministries for the Episcopal Church. As a lifelong learner, Jason is transitioning back to the classroom as he pursues his MBA at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
“I cannot express how grateful I am for these past 4.5 years. I have been blessed with incredible coworkers, amazing opportunities, deeply meaningful work, and most of all a new and expanded community of people to know and love. I trust that the Episcopal Church is deeply committed to young adult ministry and know that the good work we’ve begun together will carry forward.” – Jason Sierra
Jason will be living out his passion for art as his time in Duke’s Social Entrepreneurship program will focus on “Non-Profit/For-Profit partnership in mobilizing the arts as a tool for community development among marginalized populations.” Jason continues to do free-lance work in his free time. Check out some of his work at http://jasonsierra.com/
It is thanks to Jason’s work on the Formation and Vocation Team that the Young Adult and Campus Ministries have a vibrant online presence and networking capabilities. MyMinistry.org is excited to have Jason lead the conversation on his time with TEC and what it is to be in Young Adult and Campus Ministries today.
