I write with a heads up to let you know that we are issuing three announcements over the next few days related to the dean’s plan for a multi-phased reopening of campus operations. This is the first of those announcements.
The COVID-19 Task Force has been meeting regularly to develop policy and advise Dean Kittredge on a plan for reopening campus operations. Today, the dean’s plan, which includes various interim policies, was approved by Bishop Suffragan Kathryn Ryan, subject to a few minor revisions. We will issue the written plan via email to all faculty and staff on or before June 15.
The dean’s plan involves a phased reopening of limited campus operations commencing Monday, June 22, or on such later date as the dean may determine. Supervisors will be coordinating schedules and other accommodations with their faculty and staff colleagues in the coming days.
Meanwhile, Chief of Staff Lesley Wilder will be sending to you under separate cover a link inviting your questions and any concerns about reopening the campus. Survey input can be offered anonymously.
